Swaledale- Perfect location (I might be biased but the Dales Bike Centre do the best cakes), perfect weather (its always like that, apart from the 2nd day’s weather), great mix of trails with a high percentage off-road and control locations that made you think you could clear it, but in reality the hilly terrain made that notion impossible. The most climbing I’ve ever done in a single ride and despite knowing the area pretty well I still ended up riding trails i’d never ridden before (and the odd one I might never ride again…)
