Pateley Bridge course map – Saturday October 31st

This will be the first event of our winter series and will use the new 40 control format a total score of 1000 . The tracks are riding well and are mainly hard pack , route choice will be the critical factor and how many lumps you want to go up without being too late back , whilst the event centre is in the centre of the map there are very few bridleways south of the river and thus fewer controls as I have tried to avoid gratuitous in and out controls! More details to follow next week…

Online entry here – 25% discount for entries before 26th

Course Map 31-Oct-2026

Another successful summer for the NYMBO League!! Now for the Winter Series…

The NYMBO 2026 league is completed and the winners have all been awarded their prizes! Over eight events, we’ve had a combined total of 403 riders entering events and an average of fifty riders at each event – with Tony Thornley’s Addingham course attracting the most entries.

You can see all the winners in the table below, but a special mention to those at the top of each class:
M40 – Ria Murray
M50 – Andy Gregg
M60 – Andy Conn
M70 – David Day
W50 – Carmen Elphick
W60 – Jill Ellison
W80 – Karen Blackburn
X50 – David Cowgill & Claire Riley
X60 – Andrea 7 Steve Foster
E-Bike – Sheila Pearce

Big shout out to Yorkshire Dales Brewing Company and the Dales Bike Centre for their support of our events and the prizes – please support them when you can!

Thanks to all of our planners for ensuring we have different, challenging and enjoyable courses each month and the time taken to survey all of the courses and prepare the map. It’s a team effort making NYMBO happen and we couldn’t do it without all of the voluntary contributions that everyone makes. The weather can make a big difference to the success of our events – in 2026 we have had very good conditions for every event, which makes a nice change!!

We have a full programme of winter events, online entries are open for the next one in Pateley Bridge on the 31st October, and next year’s league is nearly finalised. All dates on the website. This is the first time we’ve been so prepared!!

A successful partnership with Claro for some runners at joint events has worked well and we will continue that into the winter season.

There were no league prizes for any under 40 category this year – we always need to encourage others to join but it’s becoming very apparent that we need to get some younger riders involved if the league is to have a long-term future – ideas welcome.

Fadmoor Report & Results

Provisional results on BMBO site here and full tracks available on MapRun here so you can evaluate you took the best route! Any corrections to Tim ASAP please and no later than Tuesday.

Unfortunately, the recent MapRun app seems to have caused an issue for Garmin watch users – we’re waiting feedback from MapRun on that.

Here’s Conrad’s planners report:
