I’m back and it’s cold. Please pay £4.50 to park in the Dales Countryside Museum car park (or park in the nearby streets), toilets are next to the centre and registration is in the bike shop café which is open all day. There has obviously been a lot of snow but only the 3 highest controls will not be accessible.
Online entries have now closed with 20 riders so Tim has printed 30 maps.
Please email nymboevents@btinternet.com if you still want to reserve one or just turn up on the day.
The snow is still melting and the forecast for Saturday is 9c with light rain and a gentle breeze so the event is definitely ON.

Thanks to Stage1Cycles for hosting the event and Tim for an excellent map. Fortunately, the snow had melted lower down so 27 of the original 30 controls were still accessible. Congratulations to local rider Mark Daniel who won overall and well done to Generation pair Steve & Ben Collins for finishing second. I thoroughly enjoyed planning the course in January and deliberately restricted the course to the roads in 2 valleys. The ford at Marsett was interesting and tested some riders resolve but well done for turning up and enjoying yourselves. The results are on the BMBO and Ebor web pages and will appear here soon.
