Thanks to John Dixon for an excellent course in pleasantly undulating terrain on a cold but dry day. Thanks to Jens for yet another excellent map and the Fox & Rabbit for a warm welcome where we could warm our feet while eating an excellent lunch. Congratulations to the winners – Andy Conn Vet Men 455, Adrian & Luke Parker M21 362, Jenny Sutton W40 317,Shaun & Jane Joughin X40 267, Phill & Luke Collings (in his first event) Gen 265. Hopefully we will get a similar turnout at our next event at Newton on Ouse on December 10th.

That was a fun morning and not as cold as I thought it would be. Apart from my bridleway adventures south of control 28, I had a good ride!!
